Sugar Ray Leonard v Benitez On Site Poster
On November 30, 1979, Sugar Ray Leonard won the World Welterweight Title, stopping champion Wilfred Benitez in 15 rounds at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Also included on this card on November 30, 1979, Marvin Hagler and Vito Antuofermo fought to a controversial draw for the Middleweight Title. Presented here is an official on site poster for this event. This poster is printed on thin cardboard stock and pictures both fighters in the upper left area. It has a center crease and there are several edge nicks, but no paper loss or tack holes. The print, images and color are still bold, it's clean with no staining and measures 22x28." A very rare poster from Sugar Ray's first championship.
