Sugar Ray Robinson Fight Worn Golden Gloves

Sugar Ray Robinson Fight Worn Golden Gloves

Sugar Ray Robinson may be best remembered for his remarkable 25-year professional career, but he also enjoyed a stellar amateur career. He won the Gold Gloves in New York and competed in numerous amateur fights throughout the country. These are fight worn gloves used by Robinson during his Gold Gloves competition. These gloves have on each wrist the manufacturer's tag for "Davenga Golden Gloves" and still have the original laces. Well worn, but no holes in leather. Kept by his family. Includes an LOA from his son Ray Robinson II.
