Sugar Ray Robinson vs. Phil Moyer On Site Fight Poster
On July 9, 1962 at the Sports Arena in Los Angeles, Sugar Ray Robinson lost a split ten round decision to Phil Moyer, effectively ending any hope of another comeback. Presented here is the on site poster for this event which pictures Robinson, undercard fighter Davey Moore and Joe Louis who was involved in the promotion. This is a cardboard, 22" x 28" poster. It has two creases and some light wear. Quite scarce as are all of Robinson's on site posters.
