Super Bowl Press Pin Collection Including Scarcities (31)
Presented is a super collection of Super Bowl press pins. It is a near-complete run, up to and including Super Bowl XXXV, at Raymond James Stadium, in Tampa, Florida, which was in January 2001 and decided the championship of the 2000 season. The game had the Baltimore Ravens defeating the New York Giants 34-7. The overall average of the press pins is NM-MT. The collection starts with Super Bowl III, the great Super Bowl at the Orange Bowl in Miami, in which the underdog New York Jets, with Joe Namath at quarterback, defeated the NFL champion Baltimore Colts, who were favored by 19 and a half points, 16-7. This pin is very scarce and in the form of a tie bar. The beautiful collection is missing only I. II, VII, and XII. It is a great collection that is very hard to assemble. The trove is attractively displayed in a wooden case that measures 11x14". The overall average is NM-MT.
