Super Bowl XXXIII Bronze By George Gadson
This stately, solid bronze sculpture by noted artist George Gadson was one of approximately 100 presented to owners and key sponsors of Super Bowl XXXIII played in Miami on January 31, 1999, won by the Denver Broncos, 34-19, over the Atlanta Falcons. It is an abstract image of a quarterback throwing a pass with the Super Bowl XXXIII logo carved into the bottom of the bronze. There's a small plaque on the green marble base of the statuette which reads: "SOUTH FLORIDA SUPER BOWL XXXIII HOST COMMITTEE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS BROWARD COUNTY." It measures approximately 10.5" wide and 17" tall and is an impressive work of art.
