Superb Mickey Mantle Photograph (PSA Type I)
<p>Crisp circa 1958 Type I photo of Mickey Mantle in practice before Game 3 of the 1958 World Series. The Mick is facing the camera, posed with three bats on his shoulder; while there is some wear and corner folding, the central image of this 10x8" classic remains remarkably sharp. Pencil notation on rear indicates, "Mickey Mantle during workout for 3rd World series game - 10/3/58," with stamps indicating that this is from the massive Brown Brothers archive. Mantle drew a pair of walks in that pivotal 4-0 win for the Pinstripes, who claimed the series over the Milwaukee Braves in seven games.
