Superb Ted Williams Photograph
Classic shot of legendary slugger Ted Williams toward the end of his majestic career, circa 1957. In this 7x9" posed print, Williams is seen looking past the photographer, three bats on his shoulder in obvious preparation for one of the plate appearances that amounted to an astounding .344 career batting average. Small corner creases, verso contains publishers notations in pencil along with stamps and sticker from Brown Brothers, as this is another gem from their compilation of thousands of images compiled over the course of more than a century.
