T205 Mordicai Brown with Rare Drum Back SGC VG/EX 4
This T205 Mordecai Brown will provide one collector a truly rare opportunity. Within the past 10-15 years as advanced collecting of Baseball cards has reach new level of awareness and the most dedicated collectors have sought out more difficult "types" and, in the case of tobacco cards, the more obscure backs. In the arena of T205 collecting they don't get much tougher than a "Drum Cigarettes" advertising back. To date, SGC has only encapsulated a little over a dozen of these elusive cards, regardless of player, and only one (Briscoe Lord SGC 70) has graded higher with only one other card (George Bell) graded at the same level as this card. So far Mordecai Brown is the HOF'er to be graded and this is by far the highest grade one has received.
