T206 Eddie Plank SGC 30
Graded GD “2” by SGC, this is the 2nd highest example graded to date by them. Almost, if not as rare as the famed T206 Honus Wagner. We still do not know the exact reason why the Plank is so tough to find but rest assured it is the T206 Eddie Plank that is the 2nd most valuable card in the hobby. This is a fresh example of Plank, one that has been recently graded. It had been in our consignor’s family as part of a T206 collection handed down through the generations. The offered example features a portrait of Plank well centered against a deep blue background. Corner wear and three creases on the front are the reasoning behind its SGC 30 grade. Reverse bares the “Sweet Caporal - 150 subjects” advertisement. No T206 set is complete without it. Seeing the light of day for the first time in decades we are proud to offer this baseball card treasure.
