T206 Ty Cobb Card (SGC 40)
Nice specimen Ty Cobb card from 1911 is part of the T-206 series produced by the American Tobacco Company. The card measures 1 1/2 x 2 1/2" and features a likeness of Cobb holding a bat off his shoulder, with "Cobb, Detroit" printed in the white border underneath the picture. Sweet Caporal Cigarettes are advertised on the back.
