Ted Cather 1914 Miracle Braves Game Used Bat

Ted Cather 1914 Miracle Braves Game Used Bat

This bat is a truly rare specimen used by Ted Cather, a member of the fabled "Miracle Braves" team and one of the 1914 CrackerJack cards. This Louisville Slugger Model 125 measures 34.5" and weighs 36 oz. It is caked with use! It also features a repaired crack with bat boy nails and the name "TED CATHER" is engraved in the barrel. The 1914 Boston Braves became the first team to win a pennant after finishing in last place the previous season, and they went on to sweep the Philadelphia Athletics in four games to win the World Series. The bat dates from the late teens after his major league career. Used in the minor leagues.
