Ted Karras 1963 World Champion Chicago Bears Game Worn Jacket
From the mid-1960s, this heavy duty jacket was made specifically for the players on the 1963 World Champion Chicago Bears. The number "67" on the sleeve was worn by Ted Karras, whose namesake son went on to play in the NFL and who was the uncle of Hall of Famer Alex Karras. It has a snap-button front and navy blue body with orange letters and numbers. "CHICAGO" is sewn on the back of the zip hood (which still works) and "BEARS" sewn on the back below. The King O'Shea tag in collar is there but tattered and overall this great piece shows very good use. Karras was an offensive lineman for that Bears team, which finished at an impressive 11-1-2.
