Ted Williams 1946 All Star Game Home Run Photo
Famed image of Ted Williams hitting the only home run ever hit off of Rip Sewell’s Blooper Pitch. This happened to win the 1946 All Star Game at Fenway Park. This Associated Press wire photo (stamped on verso) is a very rare image. 7x9 has some creasing and staining but perfect contrast (exceptional!). In celebration of heroics like this one, the All Star Game’s MVP Award was named after Ted beginning this year.
