Ted Williams Baseball Camp Collection (30+)

Ted Williams Baseball Camp Collection (30+)

New England icon Ted Williams was a Hall of Fame legend and one of the greatest hitters in baseball history, and he attributed a portion of his success to having attended a boys camp in his youth, where he learned how to make his body strong. To that end, Williams established a camp bearing his name in Lakeville, Massachusetts, that lasted from 1958 until the early 1980s. This lot features an abundance of items from that enterprise, with almost all of it being unused. Included here are several hat styles, two baseball shirts, socks (or Sox, as the case may be), shorts, patches, ribbons, a bat and batting helmet, plus a trophy for most hustle. A sweet collection depicting a side of the "Splendid Splinter" not many people were aware of.
