Ted Williams Moxie And Root Beer Collection (8)
The "Splendid Splinter" never pitched in the major leagues, but he was quite the pitch man for soft drinks. This specific lot draws attention to both of his pet products - a variety of Moxie and Ted's Root Beer Bottles, including one full and an original carrier. There's also a lithoed bottle with Ted's image made in the 1980s. All are in EX condition or better. The cardboard display for the uniquely bitter soft drink Moxie is a large point-of-sale display from the 1950s featuring an image of Williams and large red font proclaiming, "It's a hit says: Ted Williams." In EX condition, this 15.5" x 26" x 11" display would be perfect to show off other Ted Williams soda-related memorabilia.
