This striking lithograph celebrates the "Splendid Splinter", Boston Red Sox legend Ted Williams. He is depicted here on a background that resembles the back of his uniform with a large #9. The lithograph measures 23 x 31.5" and is signed and numbered (290/521) by artist Lewis Walkins. Ted Williams has signed the litho in mint blue Sharpie with the inscription "1941": the season his batting average was an astronomical .406. Framed and matted to 28.5 x 37".
