Teofilo Stevenson Autographed Fight Worn Gloves

Teofilo Stevenson Autographed Fight Worn Gloves

One of the few existing items from the career of one of the greatest heavyweight amateurs in history. Teofilo Stevenson is largely unknown outside of Cuba because he never went pro due to untimely circumstances. But the 3-time Olympic gold medal winner was surely one of the greatest talents to come out of the Cuban government boxing system. Offered are his fight worn gloves, showing a good amount of use and well broken in (no laces). Each one is signed in silver felt tip, “Teofilo Stevenson 8-3-03.” The left glove displays a considerably nicer autograph; the signature on the right glove is slightly more faded. Obtained from Teofilo in Cuba.
