"The Babe Bows Out" Pulitzer Prize Winning Photograph (PSA)

"The Babe Bows Out" Pulitzer Prize Winning Photograph (PSA)

The ultimate baseball photograph, this is the very definition of "iconic" in terms of sports photography. Babe Ruth says goodbye to Yankee Stadium in his final appearance (1948). Intensely emotional moment in time is forever frozen by this work of the immortal Nat Fein. This won the Pulitzer Prize for its year. This is a Type III as it is a tick off the original (most could not tell any difference). As described in the PSA LOA "Photo is a period issued 1948 example that was made off a duplicate negative by ACME featuring an image taken at the time by Nat Fein of the NY Herald Tribune." 7.25"x8". With a Type I specimen bringing as much as $140,000, this version presents an excellent opportunity for a bargain and future expanding asset.
