Offered here is a wonderful classic bronze in a mid-20th century recast. A splendid rendition of the early game back when fielders played without gloves, this marvelous statue shows a defensive player in stride attempting to catch an imaginary fly ball. Measuring 13" tall, this statue is exceptional in its detail and quality and sits on a sturdy, heavy, 4.5" wide marble base. EX-MT condition.
