The Beatles "Sgt. Pepper" Gold Record Award
One of the most important rock 'n roll pieces you will ever see. "White matte" award presented to the Beatles themselves is 100% authentic and original. A watershed moment in rock history, the creation of this album turned ritual dance music into art. Released on June 2, 1967 by Capitol Records, "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" was these British gods' 12th U.S. LP release. On June 15, 1967, less than two weeks later, it was certified gold. Absolutely the most desirable style of gold record award, the white mattes are incredibly rare and were limited to only ten to thirty pieces. The R.I.A.A. approved gem was presented to the one and only band "The Beatles." This being their most important record (if not the most important album ever), it is considered the most prestigious of all to own. Metallic record in gold is in its original frame with "New York Frame and Picture Company" sticker on its paper verso. Verso paper is restored but it is o/w original. Otherwise EX-MT.
