The Doors Gold White Matte Record Award
Elektra Records received this R.I.A.A. white matte award for their 1971 8th Doors release. The R.I.A.A. association was established in1952 and made the first certified gold record in 1958. This award originally belonged to rock author Danny Sugerman. It was certified in 1971 and again attained platinum and double platinum in 1987. N.Y. Frame sticker on reverse. Excellent condition.
