The Emil Fuchs Scrapbook
This fabulous memorial dates from around 1926-1928, judging by the dates on the articles. The 9x12" scrapbook centers on two major events: the obtaining and then trading of Rogers Hornsby from the Boston Braves to the Chicago Cubs, and the hiring of Christy Mathewson as manager and GM of the Braves. The black cloth cover can be easily rebound. The newspaper articles themselves are magnificent, with many images of Christy Mathewson and Rogers Hornsby. 62+ pages. GD-VG.
