The First Roberto Clemente Wire Photograph
An outstanding piece showing Clemente still with Santurce of Puerto Rico before he made it to the minors. Stamped March 8, 1954; this is incredibly from the newspaper La Presse (and stamped as such) with the original French newspaper caption affixed to verso. The photo captures Clemente's transition up to the minors with the Montreal Royals. It is the only specimen known and image is perfect. EX. 5x7".
