The Godfather Original Script (1972)

The Godfather Original Script (1972)

Used in arguably the greatest film ever made, these rare scripts are an offer you can't refuse. They belonged to sound editor David Hawkins who worked on the film out of the Rome office. This was for the time when Michael Corleone (Al Pacino) fled to Sicily after assassinating Virgil "The Turk" Sollozzo (Al Lettieri) and Police Captain McCluskey (Sterling Hayden). The cover is written in both English and Italian, the insides are marble boarders with cloth covered heavy binding. Includes "David Hawkins...Rome" signature. Furthermore he has notated this cover page as well. Marlon Brando's script once fetched $312,800 in auction.
