Artistic Charles Conlon image of Waite Hoyt’s grasp on a baseball is an amazing fresh to market example recently discovered in the Brown Brothers archive. 4.75x8” photo gives an up close and personal view of the right hand of arguably the most dominant pitcher of his time and perhaps sheds a little light on the future Hall of Famer's incredible ball control. Stamped “Brown Brothers” on the back along with hand written notations and a machine typed “Hoyt’s grip on the ball is similar to that of his tutor, Mathewson.” Slight creasing noticed.
