The Last Boston Red Sox Jersey Ted Williams Ever Wore
Stunning red, white and blue home white worn by this Boston hero. Bulky size 48 Wilson was worn by Ted as a batting instructor for the Boston Red Sox in spring training of 1991. Includes the leggings he wore as well. This was taken right off of Ted Williams’ back and presented to the consignor. The “9” on the verso is 100% original as is the “Red Sox” across the front. The use is perfect. Incredible wear, it is really pounded. Has heavy sweat stains at the buttonholes, in the collar and down the placket. The 1990 year tag is in the tail, it is signed on the tail in black marker. Signature looks strange to the eye because the material was pulled taut when Ted signed it. It looks perfect now when you pull it taut! Comes with amazing photograph of Ted wearing the jersey. Like a cowboy outfit worn by John Wayne or a space suit worn by Neil Armstrong.
