The Longest Game in Baseball - Game Used Ball
This ball was fouled off in the 24th inning in the longest game in baseball history; a 33 inning slobberknocker between the Pawtucket Red Sox and the Rochester Red Wings. The game ended when Dave Koza of Pawtucket smacked the winning RBI off Rochester pitcher Steve Grilli. The ball is well-browned and has green ballpoint writing throughout, including 7.5/10 signatures from Grilli, Joe Morgan, "Doc" Edwards, and others, along with a scoreboard and notations. A number of future MLB players participated in the game, including Cal Ripken Jr. and Wade Boggs.
