The Ultimate Harry Greb Signed Photograph (PSA/DNA)
Widely considered by boxing aficionados as one of the all-time greats, Harry Greb fought an incredible 298 bouts (winning 261), in a pro career that spanned from 1913 to 1926. This 11x14" photo by Apeda is in EX condition and has printing "Harry Greb Light Heavy Weight Champion of America." It's signed in 9.5/10 black fountain ink, "To my friend Jack Dhonaty, Best wishes from Harry Greb." In addition to his Middleweight and Light Heavyweight championships, Greb is perhaps best known for his decisive 1922 victory over Gene Tunney. It was to be the only loss in his career for Tunney, who served as a pallbearer at Greb's funeral after he passed away in 1926 at the young age of 32. Comes with full letter from PSA/DNA.
