The World's Most Famous Baseball Raccoon-As Featured in Forbes

This 1940s taxidermy raccoon was made world famous by a 2014 Forbes article by baseball memorabilia writer David Seidman. Our wonderful stuffed friend of the forest stands a furry 17" tall. He is brilliantly posed by an unknown genius taxidermist. This is without a doubt a vintage piece carrying a handmade bat with interesting black taped handle and sporting a very cool old felt cap. We're saying 1940s, but could be earlier. Has an original rough wood base to give it an outdoorsy look and feel. In beautifully clean condition.
