Three 1930s World Series Ticket Stubs
This lot includes three ticket stubs from World Series games; one each from the 1936, 1937 and 1938 World Series. The 1936 stub is from Game 4 at Yankee Stadium, where the Yankees defeated the New York Giants and went on to win the Series in six games. The 1937 stub is from the Game 3 at the Polo Grounds, where the Yankees again beat the Giants, this time going on to win the Series in five games. The 1938 ticket stub is from Game 3 at Yankee Stadium, where the Yankees defeated the Chicago Cubs and went on to sweep the Series. All three stubs are in terrific condition with the printing and graphics still clear and vivid.
