<p><span style="background-color: #ffffff; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 13px; color: #000000;">3 great Type 1 photographs of Giants star catcher "Chief" Meyers, c. 1910.&nbsp; Meyers p<span style="background-color: #ffffff;">layed for the Giants under the great&nbsp;</span>John McGraw<span style="background-color: #ffffff;">&nbsp;and was the primary backstop for Hall of Famer&nbsp;</span>Christy Mathewson<span style="background-color: #ffffff;">.&nbsp; Meyers hit over .300 three straight years (leading the Giants in batting each year) and helped them win three straight National League pennants from 1911 to 1913, participating in the&nbsp;</span>World Series<span style="background-color: #ffffff;">&nbsp;each of those years.&nbsp; He appears front-and-center in each of the (3) photos in this offering, his image prominently displayed in sepia tones common for the era.&nbsp; Except for a light wrinkle or two, all 3 photos are unmarked, clear and well-defined.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>There are multiple "Brown Brothers" credit stamps on the reverse, along with "Chief Meyers of Giants" written in pencil.&nbsp; Each photo is approx. 7" x 4 3/4" and presents overall in strong Excellent condition.&nbsp; A great star addition for the early 20th century Type I collector.</span></p>
