Three Rivers Stadium Seat Backs Signed by Pittsburgh Steelers Joe Greene and Rocky Bleier (12)
Collection of twelve seat backs, all of which were removed from Three Rivers Stadium prior to its demolition, each signed on the front in black Sharpie by two iconic Pittsburgh Steelers players: "Mean Joe" Greene and Rocky Bleier. Both have added inscriptions alongside each of their signatures. Greene has written "3 Rivers Stadium/Steel Curtain," while Bleier has added "4X SB Champs." Greene's inscription is especially notable as we cannot recall having ever seen him add "Steel Curtain" to other pieces he has signed. Both the signatures and inscriptions grade 8/10 overall. The plastic seat backs measure 18.5x15.5" and display wear commensurate with their age and former use. The seat numbers offered in this collection are 1, 2, 3, 4 (three examples), 6, 10 (two examples), 13, 16, and 23. The size and/or weight of this lot will necessitate an increased shipping charge.
