We have never seen even one of these before, and here are three! There are four of these tickets known to exist and the other resides with the consignor in his personal collection. These super-rare tickets are from Mathewson's final Major League game on September 4, 1916; his Reds vs. Three Finger Brown's Cubs. The kicker here is that this would also be Brown's final Major League game. The matchup was billed as the final meeting between the two old baseball warriors, and the high-scoring game was a win for the Reds. The tickets feature consecutive seat numbers - the tops of the stubs are faded to gray, otherwise all three are at least VG condition and are all encapsulated by PSA as authentic.
