Three Vintage Harry Greb Photographs
These three photographs, all of which are in EX condition, date to the 1920s and depict boxer Harry Greb. A middleweight ring champ, Greb was nicknamed "The Pittsburgh Windmill" and was known for his durable, often dirty fighting style. One photo, dated from 1925, shows a head-and-shoulders close-up. Another, from 1922, showcases Greb doing side crunches while training for a bout. The third, also dated 1922, shows a well-dressed Greb stepping out of a car and greeting fans. All three photos have typewritten notes on the back.
