Thurman Munson Game Used Rookie Era Bat
This near-perfect game used bat was wielded by New York Yankee Thurman Munson. Used very early in his career, the dating period on this Hillerich & Bradsby is 1969-72, and model "52" is stamped on the knob. It measures 34.75 inches and weighs 32 ounces, with facsimile Thurman Munson signature burned into the barrel. It's uncracked but has very nice use including many ball and stitch marks and scoring on the top side of the barrel. A vintage "15" is written in black marker on the knob and a very faint "15" is also on the barrel end of this dark wood grained gem.
