Thurman Munson Single Signed Basball

Thurman Munson Single Signed Basball

In the early summer of 1979, Rocke Sweaney, a fan of Thurman Munson, was tipped off by his friend that he might be able to get an autograph that day if he came to the golf course. His friend was caddying for the baseball legend, Thurman Munson, and his business partner Joe Guenther and might be able to arrange a small signing. As luck would have it, Munson, notoriously hard to get autographs from, signed the fan's ball while resting on the 18th hole. Signature can be found on the sweet spot in blue pen ink on this single Wilson "Worth Official League" ball. Munson's signature is graded a solid 8/10 and the ball is in Near Mint condition with absolutely no marks or abrasions. This lot comes with an LOA from the cosignor and additional PSA LOA. One of the finest Munson single signed baseball that exist.
