Thurman Thomas signed game worn shoulder pads. Thomas played from 1988-99 as a running back with the Buffalo Bills, then finished with a year with the Miami Dolphins. He played in four Super Bowls with the Bills. His game in Super Bowl XXVI is famously remembered because Thomas, as per his habit, placed his helmet on the 34 yard, and it was removed to accommodate a stage that was set up for a pre-game performance of the National Anthem by Harry Connick. Because the helmet couldn't be found, Thomas missed the Bills' first two plays from scrimmage and went on to have a poor game.
