Tommy Burns (Noah Brusso) won the World Heavyweight Title in 1906 with his victory over Marvin Hart. He successfully defended the title eleven times before losing it to Jack Johnson on December 26, 1908. This is a very scarce signed photograph of Tommy Burns. This 6x9.5" vintage promotional photo is boldly signed and inscribed in ink, "To my friend Klondike Mike Mike Maloney Tommy Burns P.S. The only man that gave me a K.O. to the solar plexus in a rough & tumble fight in Nome Alaska 1903-June 17th." Minor edge and surface wear. Framed.
