Tommy Morrrison Fight-Worn Gloves

Tommy Morrrison Fight-Worn Gloves

On November 14, 1989 in West Orange, New Jersey, heavyweights Tommy "The Duke" Morrison and Lorenzo Canady battled in a scheduled six-rounder, won by Morrison by decision. Offered here are the actual fight-worn gloves used by Morrision. These are 10-ounce, red leather gloves, each with an Everlast label at the wrist. Include the white laces. Each is labeled inside the wrist for this fight and includes the trainer's markings. They show wear but are intact and come with a letter of authenticity from Morrison's assistant manger at the time, Steve Lott, who took possession immediately after the fight. They also come with a letter from Craig Hamilton of JO Sports, Inc. and a fight video showing Morrison wearing the gloves.
