Truman & Eisenhower Exceptional Signed Photos
Two photogenic presidents signed extraordinary photos that have been expertly framed and matted, grading NRMT overall. The Harry Truman photo measures 7.25" x 9.5" and 20" x 22.5" in its gorgeous frame. It is dated December 4, 1952 and personalized to "HIS EXCELLENCY ATHANASE G. POLITIE, WITH KINDEST REGARDS + BEST WISHES WHITE HOUSE." Research has failed to single out the identity of the recipient beyond his name. The photo of Ike measures slightly less than 7" x 9" and 17" x 21" framed. He wrote: "FOR: HUNTINGTON HARTFORD WITH WARM REGARDS FROM HIS FRIEND DWIGHT EISENHOWER." A jack of all trades, Hartford was a businessman, philanthropist, stage and film producer and art collector. He was also heir to the Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company fortune.
