The short story is an autobiographical account of a young adolescent. Truman Capote’s novels were generally well received by the public. The novel, Breakfast at Tiffany’s was made into a movie (1961). In Cold Blood, which was also made into a movie (1967) propelled Capote’s reputation to international proportions.
