Turn of the Century Boxing Tickets with Gans and Dixon (3)
This vintage lot includes some really interesting pieces of boxing history. Three ticket stubs: Dixon vs. Erne at the Broadway Athletic Club on Friday, Nov. 27, 1896; Gans vs. Daly at the Lenox Athletic Club on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 1898; and McCoy vs. Choyinski at the New Broadway Athletic Club on Friday, Jan. 12, 1900. All are stubs and in VG condition. This lot also comes with two small photos of Gans and Dixon. Dixon's full-body image is cut out and labeled on the rear "George Dixon - Little Chocolate." Joe Gans' picture is a wire shot from 1908 and comes with caption attached. Both are vintage.
