Turn of the Century Brownie Andirons

One of the most rare and desirable Brownie pieces of all. Full size 19” tall fireplace andirons of two delectable Brownies. By the great illustrator Palmer Cox, these illustrated book characters were the predecessors to first comic character the Yellow Kid and Mickey Mouse to follow a few decades later. Made of cast iron these are according to the Brownie Museum in New England the only known specimens. EX-MT and fabulous.
