Turn of the Century Elysian Fields Baseball Aquatint Print
Fabulous engraving was done in the 1890's. Pictures in stirring detail "The American National Game of Baseball…Grand Match for the Championship at the Elysian Fields Hoboken N.J. 1865." At the bottom it is imprinted, "Engraved in Aquatint…Copyright Sidney Z. Lucas." Incomparable quality, it has one small crease but is still overall in Excellent condition. Print itself is 19.5x25.5". Framed as well, to make it even more striking. The Currier & Ives version of this print will run you about fifty grand.
