Turn Of The Century Football Statue
Nicely detailed hand carved wooden statue football's early days. Quilted 3/4 length pants with grey and tan striped turtle neck comprise the uniform. Blond colored wool as hair and detailed paint and carving complete the player’s head. Player is holding a football in right hand but needs a little glue to hold firmly in place. Statue stands on circular platform about 8" tall and includes a wooden base and bell shaped glass enclosure to protect it for many years of enjoyment. Very good condition.
