Two Jackie Robinson Signed Scorecards
Five years before they would finally give Brooklyn a championship, the Dodgers made a modest hire in their broadcast booth, adding a young Fordham University announcer by the name of Vin Scully. On the field, Jackie Robinson and the Dodgers pushed the "Whiz Kids" Phillies to the brink before succumbing. These two programs from that season feature the civil rights pioneer's autograph among others. One is signed on the cover by Robinson, Gene Hermanski and Carl Furillo, with the Robinson signature in pencil and rating 7.5/10. The program is in EX condition. The second is from an exhibition vs. Ft. Worth and features Robinson and three others on the cover, with Jackie's signature in pencil and grading 8/10 while the scorecard has some back cover damage and creasing
