Two Vintage Indy 500 Felt Pennats
<p>If you're looking for a splash of vintage racing color, these two Indianapolis pennants will spice up the wall of any man cave or collection room. The Indianapolis Speedway began in 1909, and it is the third oldest permanent automobile racing track in the world. The Speedway has permanent seating for 257,325 spectators, the largest sporting seated capacity in the world. The pennants are circa 1930s-1940s. The red pennant is 26" long and 8.5" from top to bottom at the larger end. This red pennant has an image of a vintage racing car and the words "Indianapolis Motor Speedway". The blue pennant is 27.5" long and 8.5" top to bottom at its highest. This blue pennant reads, "Souvenir of Indianapolis" and it shows images of two vintage race cars. Both pennants have a few very small tack holes, but otherwise their condition is EXCELLENT. The pennants recall the track on which Helio Castroneves, A.J. Foyt, Rick Mears, and Al Unser each won the Indianapolis 500 four times. What sports collection wouldn't be enhanced by the addition of these two vintage Indianapolis pennants?</p>
