A terrific B18 rendering of the iconic Georgia Peach. The white infield does have some minor toning and a few miniscule dark age spots which measure at most 1/10” in diameter. The cut is square, the surfaces (front and back) are clean, and the colors are still vibrant. Most B18 enthusiasts would welcome this one as EX condition. The other B18 is a rendition of The Big Train as Walter Johnson became known as, before his prime. The B18 is the standard 5 ?” size and though the infield is slightly toned, the red basepath and the brown bases and pennants are still boldly colored and the writing easily legible. The fabric and borders are all clean and give this an EX rating. Both blankets are part of a tobacco insert series now known as B18 (American Tobacco Co. under the brand name "Egyptienne Straights"). Both date from approx. 1914 and is a scarce collectible to find in such condition
