Ty Cobb on 1910 Cuban Baseball Tour Real Photo Postcards (2)
Two spectacular real photo postcards are the only thing we have ever seen from this 1910 Detroit Tigers Tour of Cuba let alone anything this great. Both images show Cobb, the first in a batting follow through (amazing!) and the second with bat on his shoulder lumbering seemingly lazily in the hot Havana sun. Taken at Almendares Park each has a small vintage paper band on the versos that read, "Ty Cobb Almendares Park" (interestingly they are in English). Both postcards are unposted, silver gelatin prints and overall excellent. As good as they get.
