Uncle Sam Anti-Axis Store Display Figure

Uncle Sam Anti-Axis Store Display Figure

During World War II, Uncle Sam again became a symbol of American toughness and resolve. This sturdy 26" high display figure was used in stores during the war years to show support for the troops. Uncle Sam wears a white shirt and is rolling up his sleeves as if prepared to fight. He is wearing blue suspenders, black boots and red and white striped pants with a long white goatee. The look on his face shows the determination to get through the war regardless of the difficulty that lies ahead. Fabulous patriotic piece has the original paint and shows only minor wear on the arms. NRMT.
